Hi,
I'm new to blogging and new to mechanical pencils so please forgive any naivety on my part.
I have a Pelikan 60 Repeater Pencil that I would love to get working, I tried e-mailing Pelikan directly to see if they had any instructions regarding this rare? pencil. After sending pictures and info they stopped replying so I am still none the wiser.
Does anyone have any advice on how new leads should be installed in this model? I enquire via a collectable pens website last year and was told that maybe they go in the 'nib' but this seems jammed so perhaps the pencil needs some maintenance or it could have been fitted with the wrong sized leads at some time in the past.
Should I tried a light silicon lubricant or WD40 to try and free things up or may this damage the casing and gold?
Any advice that may help in getting me up and running would be great
